Potty training.

Today marks the first day I'm trying to potty train Sylus again.
I've tried before but things got in the way and I didn't have enough time to dedicate to him, plus he wasn't quite comprehending what we were trying to do.
What I've been doing is the cold turkey into underwear method. I've brought his potty chair into the living room (since that's mainly where we are during the day) and every 15-20 minutes or so I'll put him on the potty for 5-10min. (sometimes he'll sit there a bit longer if he's occupied with something like my phone.)
So far we're battling accidents at an even 1:1. He's gone potty 3 time, one time with the added #2, in the potty chair. And he's wet his undies 3 times. But each time he at least acknowledges what he's doing by calling my name or saying "come quick!" Haha.
I have to say I'm pretty impressed with what he's accomplished. This morning was a bit frustrating but mainly because I've been overly exhausted since we got back to Kansas.
I am very curious at how long this will take for him to get it down! I really didn't want to use candy as a bribe but he deserves it.. especially when he goes #2 due to his bowels problems. We do stickers on a paper that I have taped in the bathroom wall too. He likes that!
Oh! My awesome little guy even went though an almost 2 hour nap without wetting himself! (I went against my judgement on putting him in a diaper for nap time.) And it paid off!
Tonight we'll see how it goes.. After we scrub his candy filled molars for an hour I think I'll have him fall asleep with undies on, then I'll sneak a diaper on when he's sleeping.

Random thoughts.

I wish it wasn't so stressful trying to find a place to live in a months time, in a different state.
I wish I could pick up a phone and call my husband because I hate making decisions for our family alone.
I am SO thankful for the Internet though in forms of communication to him, or to one of his buddies to relay to him.
It's really cold out right now... In Arizona. Therefore, I will freeze to death in Kansas!
I wanna start making Sylus' Halloween costume already, but never seem to find the time.

Good news got even better!

Brents tour was suppose to end in April. Making it a year away from us.
Then we got some good news that it would be cut short by 3 months!
And now.. Even better.. Sylus and I will be reunited with daddy before then!!
I'm beyond excited!!!
Now I just have to figure out where we will be living until our house on base is ready.. Which, isn't a for sure date.
Kinda annoying, but that's the way the Army rolls.
I hate moving! The stress is ridiculous, especially with a different state move. But moving back to Arizona was a good decision because Sylus got to know his grandparents, uncles, aunt and cousins.
The stress will be worth it in the end though!
The love of my life will be returning to us sooner than ever!!!
